The Cliffs is a company with a bunch of top notch indoor rock climbing gyms in NYC. This commercial is to show a potential program to get people from the indoor gym, outdoors, at The Gunks in New Paltz.

This project was a ton of fun technically, to figure out how to get the shots to make the video! It started with a 5:00 am start. We hiked to the top of the climb with all of the camera gear. To get a majority of the climbing shots, Eric and I rappelled down to a ledge with my camera and tripod strapped to my harness. It’s pretty intense stepping down over the edge to rappel normally, but with the added camera gear made it even more exciting. It was such a rewarding project to work on and I appreciate all of the help to make it happen!
