With these solo productions, I am going to new spaces, meeting and connecting with an artists, and sharing my experience in the most authentic way possible.

Working simplistically can strip away things that are unnecessary and leave you with what is truly important. The last few videos I have created, I focused on using minimal gear and limited camera movement. Using only a camera, microphone, tripod, and one light.

Creating in this simplistic way allows me to build the important skills that are the backbone of genuine storytelling. From there, I will be able to add more complex camera work and bring the production to a higher level. I hope to inspire others to work with video with the gear they already have and get the most out of it.

Juan is an artist that is creating phenomenal work. I often see people claiming they are photographers, videographers, artists, ect, but they are not consistently producing work. Juan makes time to be in his studio for hours every week. This is apparent in the large body of work which carries an impact along with technical mastery.

To spend the day with Juan was truly an honor. He is filled with wisdom that he shares throughout the video.
